Criminal convictions carry serious penalties and often have far-reaching consequences, including loss of gun rights, voting rights, drivers license, CDL license, long-lasting or permanence on a background check and more. Don’t accept any plea-bargain from a prosecutor without understanding the full implications of your plea and its impact on your life. It may seem like a positive outcome at that moment, but don’t admit or agree to anything before you’ve had the chance to speak with an attorney.
